Test Modules of MI-5004 Series Shock and Drop Tester
-
Shock Measuring and Analysis takes ideal time wave forms as standard such as ideal half-sine pulse, ideal saw tooth pulse and ideal trapezoidal pulse. It is the ideal test module for shock equipment that generates pulses within tolerance band according to standards.
Ideal waveform:
-
Half-sine, trapezoid, terminal peak sawtooth
-
Specified tolerance: ISO, MIL810, GB, GJB, User defined
-
Tolerance Pulse duration: 0.1 to 100ms
-
Sampling time: 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1,000, 2000, 4000, 7000, 10000, 13000, 16000, 20000ms
-
Shock Response Spectrum (SRS):SRS takes reference spectrum as the standard. It is used for shock equipment that generates SRS pulse that stays within specified tolerance.
-
Resolution: 1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/6, 1/12, 1/24 octave analysis
-
Damp parameters: coefficients and Q, lower/upper frequency
-
Profile: frequency, amplitude, lower/upper tolerance of unlimited breakpoints
-
Pulse Analysis:Pulse Analysis is used for shock equipment that generates non-ideal, stochastic pulses or for package drop tests with accelerometers attached.
-
Damage boundary Curve:Damage Boundary refers to ASTM D3332-99 standard and programs test steps of Critical Velocity Change shock test and Critical Acceleration shock test to determine damage boundary of UUTs. It is used to determine shock fragility which can be used in shipping containers design and product ruggedness improvement.Variable test strategies: New, Reset, Update
-
Damage Boundary is adjustable after the test ends
-
Critical Velocity Change and acceleration features: pulses of half-sine, trapezoid, sawtooth; pulse width according to ASTM D3332-99; test program setup of starting and increment of Critical Velocity Change/acceleration shock test; Vc/Ac calculation based on setup the ratio of last shock.Read more about Software of MI-5004 Series Shock and Drop Data Acquisition System
